I've been proud to call Ward 4 my home since 2016. I have four kids who go to Bradford schools. I support many of Bradford's local businesses. And I'm watching the town grow faster than the planning keeping pace with it.
Outside Bradford, I'm the expert companies call when growth gets complicated, helping to answer key questions: "What's holding us back?", "What do we need to prioritize?", and "How can we get the best return on our investment?" The Schulich School of Business, one of Canada's top-ranked business schools, trusts me to prepare Canada's next generation of business leaders. National news outlets seek my perspective on what companies need to do to succeed.
Bradford is growing fast, and the decisions being made today will shape the town my family and yours will live in tomorrow. Ward 4 deserves more strategic thinking for a council making decisions about Bradford's future.
I'm ready to provide it.
Every candidate says they'll work hard for you. Here's what actually sets me apart.
I've managed multi-million dollar budgets at some of the world's most exceptional companies. At Starbucks, Coca-Cola, and Google, every dollar had to be justified against measurable outcomes. That's not something I read about in a textbook, it's something I've been doing for 25 years.
The questions Bradford is asking right now: "What do we need to prioritize?", "Where should we be spending?", "How do we grow without losing what makes this place worth living in?" These are the same type of questions I've been paid to answer throughout my career. I've solved different versions of it before.
Too often, the loudest voice in the room carries the vote. My entire career has been built on the opposite approach: gather the data, understand what it's actually saying, and make the call that the evidence supports, even when it's unpopular. Good decisions start with actually understanding what the majority of the community believes, not just who was able to show up to council meetings and talk loudly.
I teach undergraduate, Master of Marketing, and MBA students at one of Canada's top-ranked business schools. I'm regularly interviewed by the media for my thoughts. I also write a blog that breaks down complex business ideas in plain language. If I'm your councillor, you'll always know where I stand and why. I believe the people of Ward 4 deserve a councillor who owns their decisions, admits their mistakes, and never puts their own interests above the community's.
Early in my career, I spent four years as a Director on my Condominium Corporation's Board, making important decisions on behalf of the residents of the building. Currently, I serve as a Director on AMA Toronto's Advisory Council and as an Advisor for Harvard Business Impact's Educator Advisory Team. I'm not going to spend my first year figuring out how good governance works, because I already know. That means I can get right to work for you.
I've negotiated major brand partnerships with organizations like Universal Studios and NASCAR. I've aligned cross-functional and international teams around shared priorities when everyone had competing interests. Getting the best outcome for the people you represent, at a table where others have their own agendas, is an important skill. It's a skill I've refined over a 25-year career.
I've spent 25 years building awareness and making compelling cases for why people should choose one option over another. That translates directly to attracting businesses, jobs, and investment to this community. Bradford deserves more attention than it gets today, and I know how to change that.
Transparent
You will always know where I stand and why. No vague answers, no dodging difficult questions.
Consistent
The decisions I make for this community won't depend on who is making the ask. Everyone gets the same councillor.
Fact-Based
I have a long history of using data to make well-informed decisions. Facts will always win over loud voices at my council table.
Accessible
If you have a concern, you'll be able to reach me by phone, by email, by WhatsApp, on Facebook, or through this website. I respond, and I respond quickly.
Inclusive
I'll always be open to hearing from people who don't share my views, providing they show me the same respect I intend to show them.
Integrity
I will never put my own interests above the interests of Ward 4.
Accountable
I'll own both my decisions and my mistakes.
